Spring Cleaning includes and is limited to
Leaves
Leaves pile, grass clippings are left behind or have
washed over from your neighbors place. All this
debris needs removed so that the grass can get that
sweet sunshine.
Bushs and Shrubs
Your Bushes and shrubs are no different they need
taken care of after sitting over these past few
months. Shaped, fertilized and cleaned up in
general.
Flower Beds
Your beds are no doubt full of leaves and debris
that has blown in over the winter months. No one
wants to see a bed full of leaves and weeds,
especially trash. You Cul-De-Sac folks know what I'm
talking about. And who got out while it was freezing
to pull weeds. I didn't.
Grass
WE DO NOT SCALP!
We call it a scalping but we don't cut grass short
like most other companies do.
NEVER CUT ANY GRASS BELOW 1 INCH!
Scalping is meant to remove debris and cut off the
dormant tips in preparation for now spring growth,
yes, indeed. You don't have to cut it to ground in
order to get the same great benefits. We lower our
mowers to 1in. (or 2.5 for St. Augustine) Bags on
and mow. We mow the property 2 times this way making
sure to collect all the clipping we can keeping our
mower bags as clean as possible to prevent back up
and re-mulching. That's it. "Scalping" Done.
